Imaging Career -
"There is light outside our visible spectrum.   The “Invisible Light” Infrared (IR) falls below what we can see. Perhaps, more than realized, we sense this energy in the form of light because it is always moving.." Kathleen Duxbury

Kathleen Duxbury’s imaging career has spanned above, below and within the visible light spectrum.

Although licensed but no longer practicing she worked for over decade as a Radiographer. Then segued into film photography, eventually
opening a private studio with a B&W specialty.

In the 1980’s she was introduced to the Infrared (IR) spectrum, a range of light that falls below what we can see.

Duxbury’s images, from the last 20+ years are an artistic interpretation of this “invisible light”.

Her unique, award winning work is in numerous private collections in addition to being published and exhibited nationally.
